Jeff Reed taught his first online Bible study in the summer of 2000 — 75 people across the planet, working through the book of James on a text-based system, years before "digital ministry" was a category. He's been making the message land in new rooms ever since.
At Christ Fellowship Miami he grew the production ministry from one campus to five in eighteen months and directed 200+ weekend volunteers, building experiences like Code Blue, a 7,000-seat worship night. He served as Communications Director at Austin Ridge Bible Church in Austin, then returned to Christ Fellowship as Weekend Experience Director and Online Pastor — building the web platforms, mobile and TV apps, and online small-group ecosystem.
In 2018 he founded theChurch.digital, which in 2024 became a first-of-its-kind digital missionary sending agency now equipping missionaries on six continents. Along the way he's been the digital-ministry voice for Resi and Pushpay, directed Metaverse Church NEXT for Leadership Network / Exponential, led digital church planting for Stadia through COVID, co-founded an AVL integration firm, and written two books. Today he's also Production Director for Christ Journey's brand-new, state-of-the-art campus in South Miami — a building made to do ministry for the next generation.
Humble Disruption is where all of it comes together — a remote Tech Director, Digital Strategist, and Online Pastor for a handful of churches at a time, building AI-powered workflows that turn one weekend message into a week of multilingual content. He's a TCU graduate; he married his high-school sweetheart, Amy; and they live in Miami with two kids and two dogs.
